Description: Lockheed Martin has established a scholarship program to provide opportunities to students studying select STEM degrees that demonstrate financial need and come from underrepresented or underserved communities. Applicants must be a high school senior, or a freshman, sophomore, or a junior undergraduate student. Eligible majors are Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics. They must be planning or currently attending a college or university in the U.S. Scholarship recipients are selected based on consideration of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances and an outside appraisal. Army ROTC Study.com Scholarship:

Description: The Army ROTC Study.com Scholarship will be given to a student enrolled in Army ROTC at their college or university. Study.com wants to recognize students who have the dedication and strength of character necessary to be successful in the competitive ROTC program. Selection will be based on academic history and extracurricular activities. Financial need will not be considered. Graduating high school seniors who meet the criteria may apply. Description: AFA’s Teen Alzheimer’s Awareness Scholarship provides educational funding to college-bound high school seniors who have been impacted by Alzheimer’s disease. Applicants are asked to write an essay or submit a video no more than 4 minutes long, describing the impact of Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia-related illness on themselves, their families or their communities, and what they have learned. Golden Apple Scholars Program in Illinois:

Description: The Golden Apple Scholars Program in Illinois is a teacher preparation and tuition assistance program for high school seniors and freshman and sophomore Illinois college students who have the determination and drive to be highly effective teachers in Illinois schools-of-need. We prepare aspiring teachers for immediate and lasting success in the most challenging teaching environments. Standardized test scores are optional and not required for acceptance to the Golden Apple Scholars Program, however, home school students are required to submit test scores for application review. Students accepted into the Scholars program must submit test scores after induction to assist in research purposes. The Renaissance Fund Scholarship Program:

Description: The Renaissance Fund Scholarship Program will award scholarships to eligible undergraduate and graduate students attending eligible educational institutions within the United States. Scholarships are awarded for the purposes of providing educational assistance to recipients with true and verifiable financial need who are of Greek heritage or are actively involved with the Eastern Orthodox faith. The Renaissance Fund has an anti-ChatGPT Policy. Artificial intelligence language models, such as ChatGPT, may not be used for or in the preparation of your Personal Statement. If you are a high school senior applying for an undergraduate scholarship, please provide your high school transcript. If the applicant is applying on the basis of affiliation with the Eastern Orthodox Church, please provide evidence of that affiliation. Description: The Dr. Michael Dorizas Memorial Scholarship honors the late Dr. Michael Dorizas, a widely respected educator, lecturer and athlete. Description: The Hattie Tedrow Memorial Fund Scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior, who’s also a direct descendant (child, grandchild, etc.) of a veteran with honorable service in the U.S. military, and intends to further their education at an accredited school of higher education. Proof of acceptance to an accredited school of higher education is required at the time of application for the scholarship. Applicants must also include proof of military service in their application. Form DD214 is preferred, sensitive information such as social security number, etc. should be redacted. Images of cemetery headstones are not considered proof of service. If a student is homeschooled, the home school must be accredited and proof of grade level provided. The student will have two years from the date of graduation from high school to use the award. Description: The Maureen L. and Howard N. Blitman, P.E., Scholarship to Promote Diversity in Engineering is awarded annually to a high school senior from an ethnic minority who has been accepted into an ABET-accredited engineering program. Description: Pat Napolitano, Fleet Support Representative and Staggerwing Pilot for Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics was a respected employee and member of the aviation community. With more than 30 years of experience and over 4,500 hours of flight time, his passion for aircraft maintenance and flying was apparent to anyone who had the opportunity to meet him. Through this scholarship, Pat’s legacy will inspire a new generation of aviators. Hawaii Education Association Graduating High School Seniors Scholarship:

Description: The Hawaii Education Association Graduating High School Seniors Scholarship will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who will enroll in any state or nationally accredited institution of higher learning in the 2024-2025 academic year. Preference will be given to those intending to major in education. This scholarship is open only to HEA members, their children, and/or their grandchildren. Members must be in good standing and shall have been members for at least one year. At least three recommendations from the applicant’s teachers are required. Description: The Tommy Tranchin Award was established at The Dallas Foundation to support students with physical, emotional, or intellectual disabilities who have shown promise or passion in a chosen field of interest. Applicants must be a student and resident in North Texas in grade level 8-12. Please note that the Tommy Tranchin Award is not intended to offset costs associated with obtaining a college or university degree. Instead, the award is intended to support creative projects, performances, training activities, and participation in workshops, seminars, and competitions. Description: NFPA offers multiple scholarships to high school seniors, and students enrolled at community colleges, technical colleges, and universities. The Fluid Power Scholarship aims to help students pursue their interests in fluid power. The applicant does not have to be enrolled in a dedicated fluid power degree program but must be enrolled in a relevant program where fluid power is taught. Examples of these programs are available on the scholarship’s website. Past scholarship recipients are eligible to apply again but have a different essay question than first-time applicants. Air Line Pilots Association Scholarship Program:

Amount: $15,000 – $60,000

Description: The Air Line Pilots Association Scholarship Program will be awarded to a child of a medically retired, long-term disabled, or deceased pilot member of the Air Line Pilots Association. This scholarship will be awarded for four consecutive years, provided that adequate academic standing is maintained. Although the program envisions selection of a student enrolling as a college freshman, eligible individuals who are already enrolled in college may also apply. The student must be enrolled in a program of studies principally creditable toward a baccalaureate degree. Applications for the scholarship should not be submitted prior to an applicant’s senior year in high school and preferably after the first semester of that senior year. Peters Foundation Scholarship:

Description: The Peters Foundation provides a limited amount of scholarship grants to high school seniors graduating in 2025 and pursuing accredited college studies in the field of primary or secondary education at a Christian college or studies related to environmental matters. The scholarship may be awarded for over a four-year period. The selection committee determines scholarship amount based on economic need, academic potential, and other analysis. The selection committee will perform a Phase I application analysis. Selected applicants will be invited to complete a Phase II application. Mitchell Scholarship:

Description: The Mitchell Institute awards scholarships each year to graduating students from Maine’s public high schools as they pursue higher education. Each Mitchell Scholar receives a scholarship award that is paid in four equal installments. To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must be a full-time resident of Maine and be on track to graduate from a public high school in Maine. Students who attend a public school in Maine but come from households with residency outside of Maine are not eligible to apply for the Mitchell Scholarship. Description: The Edward O. Nesheim Memorial Scholarship was created by his daughter, Sonja Adahl, in 2008 to honor the memory of her late father. The scholarship may be used at any post secondary institution of higher education granting Associate or higher degrees. Applicants must be a direct descendant (child, grandchild or great-grandchild) of a U.S. veteran who served honorably. Proof of service and lineage are required. Description: The AOL Scholarship Program seeks to promote growth of the forest operator workforce by providing scholastic opportunities to those seeking to work in Oregon. Scholarships will be made available to those students who are studying for careers in: forest management, forest engineering, heavy equipment operation, diesel mechanic training, CDL license attainment, welding or other forestry related areas of study. The scholarship for technical education is a one-time payment, meanwhile, the scholarships for two and four-year degree programs are renewable. Dutch Arver was a supporter of the AEA for years and served on the board of directors until his retirement. Description: The Johnny Davis Memorial Scholarship was named in memory of Johnny Davis, president of Dallas Avionics in Dallas, Texas, who supported the general aviation industry for more than 30 years and served as an AEA board member. Description: The Chuck Peacock Memorial Scholarship was given by Wanda Peacock in memory of her late husband, Chuck Peacock. As the founder of the Aircraft Electronics Association, Peacock credited his aviation and business management skills as the cornerstones for his success in the industry. SMAC Cancer Fighter Scholarship:

Description: The Cancer Fighter Scholarship will be awarded to high school seniors who have been leaders in the fight against cancer. Applicants must be graduating from a public or private high school planning to attend a post-high school institution within the United States. Financial need is not considered. Applicants must create a video showcasing how they have been a cancer fighter, and what they have learned from the fight. Be creative and have fun. Applicants must include Peace out, cancer” at the end of their video in order to be eligible. NWFA Education & Research Foundation Wood Studies Scholarship:

Description: The National Wood Flooring Association Education & Research Foundation Wood Studies Scholarship is designed to promote the post-secondary study of forestry and related forestry sciences. Trees are a natural resource providing the raw materials that support the livelihood of those employed in the forestry industry, including members of the NWFA. This scholarship may be awarded to a current high school senior who will study forestry; or to a current college student enrolled in a forestry, environmental science, or natural resources program. High school seniors and college students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. High school seniors must have an ACT score of 25 or higher, or SAT score of 800 or higher. Description: Each year, the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation awards scholarships to help New Hampshire students with the fewest resources and most promise realize their educational goals, whether it’s a two- or four-year college degree, certificate or professional license. Description: The purpose of the UCB Family Epilepsy Scholarship is to help those in the epilepsy community achieve their goals. Outstanding accomplishments deserve recognition. UCB is awarding academic scholarships to people living with epilepsy, their family members, and caregivers. In 2023, UCB will award scholarships to people living with epilepsy, their family members, and caregivers who are pursuing higher education. Description: The Eddison Hermond Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by The Restaurant Association of Maryland and the Victoria Restaurant Group to honor the life of Eddie Hermond. Eddie, a longtime manager of Victoria Gastro Pub, Manor Hill Tavern and active member of the Maryland National Guard, lost his life in the 2018 flood in Ellicott City while trying to save the life of another. Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund:

Description: The Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund is focused on helping economically-challenged Taiwanese American youth fulfill their dreams of obtaining higher education. Palmetto Fellows Scholarship:

Description: The Palmetto Fellows Scholarship Program is a merit-based program established to recognize the most academically talented high school seniors in South Carolina and to encourage them to attend college in the state. Its intent also is to retain talented minority students who might otherwise pursue studies outside the state. In order to be eligible to apply, a high school senior must: 1) Be enrolled in an approved SC public or private high school, an eligible SC home school program of study or a preparatory high school located outside the State while a dependent of a legal resident of South Carolina; 2) Be seriously considering attending, have applied, or have been accepted for admission to an eligible institution in South Carolina; and 3) Certify that they have never been convicted of any felonies and has not been convicted of any second or subsequent alcohol or other drug-related misdemeanor offenses within the past academic year. Palmetto Fellows may receive scholarship funding for a maximum of eight full-time terms of study toward their first bachelor’s degree at an eligible four-year institution in South Carolina. The Early Award deadline is April 15th and the Late Award deadline is June 30th of the year of high school graduation. Description: The Gus Archie Memorial Scholarship is supported by the SPE Foundation and awards an outstanding student who plans to enter a university and pursue an undergraduate degree in petroleum engineering. Recipients are typically in the top 3 percent in both class ranking and standardized test scores. Description: The Hanna Family Foundation Scholarship is intended for graduating seniors from the Burgettstown Area High School in Pennsylvania. This scholarship is paid over four years, so students must meet the renewal requirements. Applicants must have demonstrated extracurricular activities, community service, and financial need. Colorado Masons Benevolent Fund Scholarships:

Amount: $7,000 – $28,000

Description: The Colorado Masons Benevolent Fund Scholarships are intended to provide financial assistance to deserving students. They are not intended to cover all expenses. These scholarships may be renewable for up to 4 years. These scholarships are intended to assist in obtaining an undergraduate degree from a university or college, or training in other accredited schools of higher education within the State of Colorado. Applicants must be a graduating Colorado public high school senior. Applicants must submit a copy of their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Student Aid Report (SAR). Four letters of recommendation should also accompany the application. Letters should be from personal acquaintances, employers, clergy or teachers. Description: The BHW Women in STEM Scholarship will be awarded to those who are pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree and are majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics during the 2024 school year. As long as you are attending college next year, you are eligible to apply. International students may apply, but only if they are attending a US-based school. Charles H. Bussmann Undergraduate Scholarship:

Description: The Charles H. Bussmann Undergraduate Scholarship will be awarded to students currently enrolled in a marine-related field, with a focus on marine technology, marine engineering, or marine science. Outgoing high school seniors are eligible to apply for an MTS scholarship if they have been accepted into a marine studies program. One letter of recommendation is required from a teacher, counselor, professor, advisor, co-op or internship supervisor in a marine-related course(s), performed research for or received advice from within the past two years. For high school seniors, the recommendation must be from a current teacher in any field, however a science teacher is preferred. One letter of reference (character reference) is also required from someone the applicant knows who is not a teacher, counselor, advisor or professor. This letter is to highlight the qualities, characteristics, and capabilities of the scholarship applicant. The Walter E. Beall Scholarship:

Amount: $2,000 – $5,000
Closing Date: April 15, 2025
Description: The Walter Beall Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to students who further their education in general engineering, aviation or aeronautical engineering degree programs. Each award recipient is adjudicated on financial need, academic achievements, and community involvement. Students attending US military academies or enrolled in reserve officer candidate programs receiving aid are not eligible to apply. In order to apply, applicants may be FRA members or spouses, sons or grandsons, daughters or granddaughters of members in good standing of the Fleet Reserve Association (FRA). The FRA member must have been designated as a member in good standing for the two consecutive years prior to applicants submission of application. Deceased members must have been FRA members in good standing for the two consecutive years prior to death. Applicants must enroll at an accredited college, university, or technical institution in the United States. Two character references from non-family members must be submitted.
