Description: At Mattis Law, we’ve dedicated our practice to Family Law, and we do everything we can to ensure that children and their families will have a safe and happy future. In this spirit, we’re offering a scholarship to benefit a San Diego County high school senior or graduate who wishes to improve their future by pursuing higher education. This scholarship is open to California high school graduates pursuing a four-year college degree and current college students who graduated from a California high school and are pursuing a four-year degree or are currently enrolled in a two-year college and planning to transfer to a four-year college degree program upon completion. Description: The Jan Jancin Competition invites institutions to nominate a law student who has excelled in the study of intellectual property law for the Jan Jancin Award and the AIPLA Past President’s Award. The competition is a merit-based scholarship awards that recognize diversity-minded law students who have expressed an interest in pursuing a career as an IP lawyer, and who have engaged in activities reflecting that interest. The Association's scholarships are funded by an endowment from the Elizabeth and Sherman Asche Memorial Scholarship and others. Applicants must be enrolled with their respective Tribe, either federally recognized or non-federally recognized Tribe, from the continental US or Alaska. This will be awarded to students entering college or already enrolled in a higher education institution. High school students may apply. The aim of the scholarship is to bring attention to why addiction, in various forms, is becoming more prevalent in our society and how we can address the issue of an increasing number of people dealing with addiction. Rizing Tide Crest Scholarship:
Amount: $14,000 Closing Date: May 31, 2025 Open To: High School & In-College Students Description: Rizing Tide will annually award the Crest scholarship to students who are pursuing a physical therapy degree and who come from an underrepresented racial and/or ethnic background (self-identifying as BIPOC). Applicants must be a student entering their first or second year of a DPT program (with their second year beginning no sooner than June 1, 2023); or be an active first-year student; or be a student entering a PTA-to-DPT bridge program. Young, past president of the AARC, who personally contributed greatly to respiratory care education. Miller, MD Postgraduate Education Recognition Award will be awarded to assist qualified respiratory therapists in the pursuit of postgraduate education leading to an advanced degree. Applicants must be a respiratory therapist who has at least a Baccalaureate degree with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or better, or the equivalent. If no Baccalaureate degree, then a letter of matriculation from a graduate program and an undergraduate transcript will suffice. North Carolina Veterans Scholarships Class I-A:
Amount: $7,000 Closing Date: June 1, 2025 Open To: High School & In-College Students Description: The North Carolina Veterans Scholarships Class I-A will be awarded to a student with a veteran parent who was killed or died in wartime service or died as a result of service-connected condition incurred in wartime service as defined by law. This scholarship may be used for four academic years if used within 8 years. A transcript of high school grades through junior year is required if the applicant is a senior in high school and doesn't have senior grades. If the applicant graduated high school, they must provide a complete transcript of high school grades. American Legion Auxiliary Department of Idaho Traditional Nurses Scholarship:
Amount: $1,000 Closing Date: June 1, 2025 Open To: High School & In-College Students Description: One scholarship will be awarded to those who are direct descendants of veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in The American Legion and were honorably discharged. Membership in The American Legion Family is not required to apply for this scholarship. The eligible dates are April 6, 1917 through November 11, 1918 (WWI); and December 7, 1941 (WWll) to the present. Applicants must be in their senior year of high school. Description: Scholarships are offered annually to members of Delta Sigma Pi who are in good standing and have already received a bachelor’s degree and are enrolled or will begin graduate studies in the fall term. Hawaii Education Association Student Teacher Scholarship:
Amount: $2,000 Closing Date: June 3, 2025 Open To: High School & In-College Students Description: The Hawaii Education Association Student Teacher Scholarship will be awarded to student teachers intending to teach in the Hawaii State Department of Education who are enrolled in a State Approved Teacher Education Program as a full-time undergraduate or post-baccalaureate candidate in any state-approved or nationally accredited institution of higher learning; or enrolled in a Hawaii SATE alternative licensure program in the 2024-2025 academic year.
