Description: The Amery Woman’s Club Scholarship for Non-Traditional Female Students will be awarded to a woman beginning or returning to a program of higher education, but not immediately following her high school graduation. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED/HSED. Applicants must also live or work in the Amery School District. Applicants must plan to attend or are already attending an accredited college, university, technical college, or other accredited post-secondary training to complete an undergraduate program. Documentation of enrollment is required. Applicants must earn no more than 150 percent of the federal poverty guidelines by household size. The scholarship money may be used toward tuition, books, childcare, and transportation. Applicants must submit a cover sheet, attached to the essay or letter, that includes their name, address, and telephone number; name and address of the educational institution they are attending or planning to attend; the program they are or will be enrolled in; and their adjusted gross income for the previous year. One letter of recommendation from anyone not related to the applicant must also be submitted. Marian R. DeLano Memorial Scholarship:

Description: The Marian R. DeLano Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to those who have solo-ed and have passed a written test for private pilot. Applicants must also be a member of any 99s chapter in the Ninety-Nines ‘Southwest Section’ (CA, AZ, NV, UT, HI). The scholarship is good for one rating or certificate only. Air Transport Rating not eligible. There is a 90-day limit to apply funds towards training. Description: This program is designed to find the very best collegiate spokespersons and enable them to take their beef advocacy efforts to a national level. From the applicant pool, up to three students will be selected to serve on the Collegiate Beef Advocacy Program team, traveling the nation for one year to share the positive message about beef. Virtual interviews will be conducted with top applicants to evaluate oral communication skills and assess applicant’s abilities to communicate beef industry knowledge. For the on-campus advocacy, applicants must create and execute two beef promotion events on their college campus. Please present a detailed plan for a beef promotion activity that they could realistically host on their college campus. For the social media advocacy, applicants must explain ideas for utilizing social media to engage with college students interested in beef. This explanation could include content ideas, type of posts, and platforms utilized. Applicants must also submit a video in which they advocate for the beef industry. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. They are strongly encouraged to submit one letter from a board member of a local, county, state or national Cattlemen’s or Cattlewomen’s Association (or Stockgrowers/CowBelles), state Beef Council or Cattlemen’s Beef Board. 180 Medical College Scholarship Program:

Description: The 180 Medical College Scholarship Program may be awarded to students attending a two-year, four-year, or graduate school program in the fall. Applicants must be under a physician’s care for a spinal cord injury, spina bifida, transverse myelitis, neurogenic bladder, or ostomy (ileostomy, colostomy, or urostomy). Description: The Bright!Tax Global Scholar Initiative provides supplemental funds for American students who are already or will be studying abroad under the auspices of an accredited academic institution. Scholarships are available for full semester programs. If you are a United States citizen and you currently live outside and will be studying outside the US you are eligible to apply for this scholarship. If you are a United States citizen and you currently live in the US and will be studying outside the US you are eligible to apply for this scholarship. NSCDA American Indian Medical Scholarship:

Amount: $1,500

Description: The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America has provided scholarship awards since 1928 to assist students of American Indian, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian heritage pursuing degrees in nursing or in the field of health care. The applicant must be enrolled in a tribe or village. If not enrolled, the student may be considered if he or she can prove direct tribal ancestry. Applicants may be a high school graduate, in the last semester of high school, or have equivalent education. They must be enrolled in the health professional program, having achieved good scholastic standing in pre-nursing, pre-med; or enrolled in a health care or health education program. They must be expected to graduate two years after enrollment if they are in an Associate Degree program; or they must be expected to graduate in four years if they are pursuing a BS degree. Post-graduate students are also eligible. They must also be recommended by two or three of their counselors, teachers or other school officials. Applicants must be focused on a career goal directly related to the healthcare needs of the American Indian, Alaskan Native, or Hawaiian Native community. Description: The Kevin Child Scholarship is awarded to an exceptional student in memory of Kevin Child. Applicants must be individuals diagnosed with either hemophilia A or B. Description: AGBU offers scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students of Armenian descent (excluding citizens of Armenia studying in Armenia), pursuing study at highly selective colleges and universities outside of the United States. Description: Each year, Rizing Tide will award three Surge scholarships to graduating physical therapy students or licensed physical therapists who are entering an ABPTRFE-certified residency program and who come from an underrepresented racial and/or ethnic background. Each recipient will receive a one-time payment which will be paid directly to the residency program provider and may be used to cover any residency expenses. To be eligible, applicants must have graduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program; attend an ABPTRFE-accredited PT residency program within the U.S.; be a U.S. citizen or have DACA status; and remain in good standing until the completion of the residency program. Canada Graduate Scholarships – Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplements:

Description: The Canada Graduate Scholarships – Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplements are available to those who hold a Canada Graduate Scholarship (CGS) at the master’s or doctoral level, or a Vanier CGS at the doctoral level. To be eligible, applicants must have accepted or currently hold a CGS (master’s or doctoral) or eligible; undertake their proposed trip abroad no earlier than the competition deadline date; and not hold, or have held, any other CGS-MSFSS during the course of your graduate studies. Eligible host institutions include foreign universities, inter-university research centres, international or national research institutes or laboratories, or other institutions with a research mandate. The deadlines for application are June 10 and October 10 each year. However, all eligible candidates must submit their applications by the internal deadline set by their institution.
