Description: The Charlotte McGuire Scholarship Program was established in 1986 through a gracious gift to the American Holistic Nurses Association. Since 1987, the program has offered academic scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students in need of assistance to help them through their Holistic Nursing growth and education. The undergraduate scholarship aims to recognize and celebrate nurses in an undergraduate academic setting dedicated to a practice of Holistic Nursing. Undergraduate applicants must have current R.N. Description: The Walter Beall Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to students who further their education in general engineering, aviation or aeronautical engineering degree programs. Description: The Gloria Barron Wilderness Society Scholarship seeks to encourage individuals who have the potential to make a significant positive difference in understanding wilderness and how to protect it. It was created in honor of Gloria Barron, a dedicated educator and tireless advocate for wilderness protection. The scholarship is available to currently qualified graduate students in the United States. The awards will be given to students to support their research and preparation of a paper on an aspect of wilderness. The research paper should address an aspect of the establishment, protection, or management of wilderness. The applicant may choose to discuss a subject relevant to current programs of The Wilderness Society or introduce a new topic. Proposed work may apply to a particular landscape or it may address issues broadly. Description: The Brave of Heart Scholarship was established to provide support to families of frontline healthcare workers, volunteers, and support staff whose lives were lost in the fight against COVID-19. Applicants must be a child, spouse or domestic partner of a frontline healthcare worker who lost their life to a COVID-19-related cause. The child must be living in the frontline healthcare worker’s household or primarily supported by the frontline healthcare worker. If the child is enrolled in a graduate school program, they must be age 26 and under and may be financially dependent or independent to be eligible. To continue receiving scholarship assistance beyond age 26, children must then continue to apply for the Brave of Heart Scholarship (uninterrupted) and maintain continuous enrollment in their program (uninterrupted), with the exception of summer vacation. Frontline healthcare worker is defined as a person who lived in the United States at the time of death and worked or volunteered in or for a licensed hospital, medical center or clinic, nursing home, medical transport vehicle, triage center, or other licensed medical facility, provider, or setting, or who worked or volunteered as an emergency medical technician, ambulance technician or paramedic. The individual must have had the possibility of exposure to patients with COVID-19 while working or volunteering. Description: AIANTA is proud to offer the Tourism & Hospitality Scholarship, which provides American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian students with financial assistance towards a degree or certificate in hospitality, tourism, recreation, culinary arts or related fields. Description: The CentraState Associated Auxiliaries Scholarship Program will offer three scholarships each year to students and adults who live and volunteer in the CentraState service area. Two will be awarded to graduating high school seniors pursuing a career in the healthcare field. The third scholarship will be awarded to an adult returning to college to pursue a career in the healthcare field. High school seniors must submit high school transcripts; two original letters of recommendation, one being from their volunteer coordinator; and the essay. Adult applicants must submit their college transcripts, if available; their acceptance letter from their college or letter from their college confirming attendance in a healthcare course of study; two original letters of recommendation, one being from their volunteer coordinator; and the essay. Linda Craig Memorial Scholarship:

Description: This scholarship was established in the memory of Linda Lorraine Sharvelle Craig by former Indiana Pacers athletic trainer and team administrator, David Craig and Dr. John Abrams. The scholarship is supported by those who remember Linda and who want to perpetuate her legacy. The scholarship may be used at any accredited four-year college or university or two-year junior or community college. Charles Kunz Memorial Scholarship:

Description: The Charles Kunz Memorial Scholarship is open to applicants who are individuals and nurses pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing (RN to BSN). Applicants must be a current ENA member in good standing. Applicants must be attending an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution and must provide verification of the institution’s current accreditation. Two letters of recommendation are required, one of which must be from an educational professional. Applicants will receive additional points if a recommendation is attained from a ENA member. Previous scholarship recipients are ineligible to reapply under the same category. However, qualified previous recipients may apply for the next category. ENA Foundation Pamela Stinson Kidd Doctoral Scholarship:

Description: The ENA Foundation Pamela Stinson Kidd Doctoral Scholarship is open to applicants who are emergency nurses pursuing a doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, or EdD). Applicants must be a current member of ENA in good standing. Applicants must be attending an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution and must provide verification of the institution’s current accreditation. Two letters of recommendation are required; one of which must be from a current ENA member in good standing. Applicants who are more than six months beyond the completion of all formal coursework and comprehensive examinations are ineligible to apply for this scholarship. Applicants who have received ENA Foundation scholarship support for other educational levels in the past are eligible to apply again at the doctoral level. Description: Developed through Anthony and his family’s passion to help deserving students reach their dream of attending a local college or university, the Foundation’s Scholarship Fund awards multiple scholarships to select Tri-State high school seniors. Students are interviewed and chosen based on their financial need, academic achievement, ability to overcome adversity and their ambition to succeed. Description: The Judge Sidney M. Aronovitz Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to Miami-Dade County minority students planning to continue their education through the university level and pursue a career related to the legal field or social-justice issues.
