Description: The Douvas Memorial Scholarship honors the enduring legacy of Peter George Douvas, an immigrant from Greece renowned for his dedication to perseverance and support for education. Established to support students who embody these values, the scholarship seeks to recognize and assist those who exhibit exceptional commitment to both their academic and personal growth. By providing a scholarship, it aims to alleviate financial barriers and empower a Wyoming student who demonstrates significant need and a strong motivation to pursue higher education. Description: The Walter J. Clore Scholarship was established in 1997 by the Washington Winegrowers Association in honor of Dr. Clore’s grape research and lifetime achievements in the fields of viticulture and enology. The scholarship is awarded each year to students studying viticulture, enology, and other wine-related studies. Students not yet enrolled in college may apply but preference will be given to undergraduate students. Students in a Certificate Program are also preferred but students pursuing an Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees may also apply. Washington Wine Industry Foundation Fund Scholarship:

Description: The Washington Wine Industry Foundation Fund was established to provide scholarships for students studying viticulture, enology, wine business management at CWU or WSU, and V&E Graduate Degree in food sciences. Enrollment in Washington state college or university is not required if the applicant is graduating from Washington state high school. Students not yet enrolled in college may apply. Students in a Certificate Program are not allowed to apply. Overall high school GPA for freshman applicants must be 3.40; and the overall college GPA of other applicants must be 3.0. Applicants must also be a Washington resident for at least 1 year. Preference will be given to students with financial need. Description: The George & Susan Carter Scholarship was established in 2017 as an endowed fund in honor of Washington State University researcher and winemaker George Carter and his wife, Susan. The scholarship is awarded to one student for up to four years. This scholarship was established to assist students of limited means to attain associates, bachelors, and graduate-level degrees in viticulture and enology. Students not yet enrolled in college may apply, but students in a Certificate Program are not allowed to apply. National Protein and Food Distributors Association Foundation Scholarship:

Description: Since 1979, the National Protein and Food Distributors Association Scholarship Foundation has awarded scholarships to students from NPFDA member families. To apply, the student must be an employee of a NPFDA Member Company, or the child or dependent of an employee of a NPFDA Member Company. Description: The Craig D. Butler Scholarship Foundation Award will be given to a college-bound, African-American high school senior who is from or will graduate from a high school in Pennsylvania or Camden County, New Jersey. The scholarship was established to honor the memory of Craig D. Butler and support deserving high school seniors. CDB Scholarships, the sponsor of the scholarship, aims to provide financial aid to African-Americans pursuing higher education, especially to those who’ve experienced gun violence. To be eligible, applicants must be African-American residents of Pennsylvania or attend a Pennsylvania high school. New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs and New York State Showpeople’s Association Annual Scholarship:

Description: The NYSAAF and NYSSA offer an annual scholarship program which is available to students who currently are (or have previously been) active in a fair that is a member of the NYSAAF or the NYSSA and who plan to attend (or already attend) college in pursuit of a degree. The fair where the student has been active or the NYSSA must endorse their application and will submit it for them. Students who have been active in their local fairs and who intend to pursue or who are pursuing a degree are eligible to apply. Application is open to all applicants regardless of your field of study. Description: The Massachusetts Broadcasters Association is committed to furthering the broadcast industry by helping Massachusetts’ best and brightest students pursue a career in broadcasting. Our association is committed to encouraging students who are interested in the radio and/or television industry to further their education in the field. Description: Established by Rhode Island PBS in 2017, the Ocean State Media Scholarship offers awards to residents of the station’s demographic market area who demonstrate promise of a successful career in the fields of journalism and/or media. Awards will be awarded annually and are renewable for an additional three years. Applicants may be a resident of Rhode Island or Bristol County, Massachusetts. They must be a graduating high school senior planning to attend an accredited 4-year post-secondary school, or a student currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year post-secondary institution. Description: Did you know more than 100,000 people are waiting for a lifesaving transplant? As a high school senior, you have the power to raise awareness about the importance of registering to be an organ, eye and tissue donor through the Leslie A. Ebert Legacy of Life Scholarship Program. Applicants must write a persuasive essay and/or produce a video that educates, then motivates, an audience to become registered organ, eye and tissue donors. All essay and video entrants must be current high school seniors who (1) both reside and attend high school, or are home-schooled, in one of the following locations: The state of Maryland; Northern Virginia (in specific counties as well as the independent cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Manassas, and Manassas Park); and the District of Columbia; and (2) plan to attend a college, university or community college in the 2025 Fall semester. Description: The Gus Archie Memorial Scholarship is supported by the SPE Foundation and awards an outstanding student who plans to enter a university and pursue an undergraduate degree in petroleum engineering. Description: The GCSAA Legacy Awards competition offers education aid to the children and grandchildren of GCSAA members. Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited institution of higher learning, or for high school seniors, they must have been accepted at such an institution for the next academic year. Description: The First Lieutenant Scott McClean Love Memorial Scholarship is awarded in his memory annually in perpetuity to a deserving student. Description: The Sergeant Andrew Edmund Topham Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually in perpetuity to a deserving student. Preference will be given to students who are family members of veterans who served in either Afghanistan or Iraq as part of the Global War on Terrorism. The Army Scholarship Foundation awards one-year financial scholarships on an annual basis to qualified and deserving students. Description: The Canadian Bates Scholarship program is administered through Universities Canada, located in Ottawa, Ontario. The scholarship may be awarded for up to four consecutive years. Description: The American Association of Blacks in Energy proudly supports the academic achievements of students who desire careers in the energy industry, by awarding scholarships to those students who meet the minimum scholarship qualifications. Six regional scholarships will be awarded at $3000 each; and one national scholarship will be awarded at $5000. The national scholarship will be awarded for up to 4 years. AABE William Grant Pinkard Scholarship Fund:

Description: The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is a professional organization of African Americans in the energy industry. Through its Scholarship Program, AABE seeks to help increase the number of African Americans, Hispanics and Native Americans (underrepresented minorities) in energy related fields. The William Grant Pinkard Scholarship was named after a member of the Kansas-Missouri Chapter of the AABE who best exemplified the organization’s purpose and goals. William Grant Pinkard, II was a dedicated and active member. Applicants must have, minimally, an overall “B” unweighted academic average (3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale); be a graduating high school senior who has applied to one or more accredited colleges/universities; plan to major in business, one of the physical sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics fields; and be a member of one of a class or group of individuals who has been historically underrepresented in the sciences, technology, engineering and math related disciplines. Logan Telephone Cooperative Educational Scholarship:

Description: LTC Connect will again be awarding scholarships in 2025 to deserving high school senior students in the LTC Connect service area. Only students whose parents or guardians have membership in good standing with LTC Connect qualify for these scholarships. However, children of LTC Connect employees and directors are not eligible for consideration. Also, to qualify, students should already be accepted to the school of their choice. Description: In his short span of life, Avinash “Avi” Raina, made an impact on people that usually takes a lifetime. To continue his legacy and passion, the Avi Raina Scholarship was established to benefit local high school seniors. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior in San Joaquin County. They must pursue an undergraduate degree in any major at an accredited college, university or community college. Stockton Student Athletes Scholarship Fund:

Description: The Stockton Student Athletes Scholarship Fund was established to support students who will be playing on college sports teams. These are renewable scholarships, which means students could receive the scholarship for over four years. Applicants must be a high school senior at any school located in the City of Stockton. They must pursue an undergraduate degree in any major at an accredited college or university. Applicants must also plan to play collegiate level sports (in any sport). Applicants must provide a letter verifying they have been accepted to play sports at the college/university level and a current letter of recommendation from a coach or teacher at their high school. Description: The San Joaquin Society for Human Resource Management Scholarship was established to support students who have an interest in becoming Human Resource professionals. They must pursue an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related major with an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resource Management. Robert G. Porter Scholars Program:

Amount: $1,000 – $8,000

Description: The Robert G. Porter Scholars Program offers four 4-year, $8,000 post-secondary scholarships to students who are dependents of AFT members, as well as 10 one-time $1,000 grants to AFT members to assist with their continuing education and/or fund their proposed ideas to strengthen and grow their union. The scholarships will be awarded to accomplished high school students who show outstanding service to their community and an understanding of the role unions can play to create a more just society. The AFT Robert G. Porter Scholars Program for high school students is open to graduating high school seniors. Applicants must have at least one parent or legal guardian who is an AFT member. The AFT member whose child or legal dependent applies for a scholarship must be a member in good standing for at least one year. The scholarship award is paid out over a four- to six-year period, depending on the length of time the recipient will use to obtain a degree. The grants will be awarded to accomplished AFT members who seek to implement ideas for their union about the role union members can play in collectively reclaiming the promise of a more just society for all. The grant is open to any AFT member in good standing who has been a member for at least one year. AFT teachers, healthcare professionals, PSRPs, higher education faculty, early childhood educators and public employees are welcome to submit applications. Stephenson Rife Community Involvement Scholarship Award:

Description: Stephenson Rife is pleased to announce the availability of a scholarship for students entering their first year of a postsecondary institution at the beginning of the next academic year (August 2025). This scholarship is designed to encourage and reward dedication of an exemplary individual who is deeply involved in the Shelby County community that surrounds them. Scholarship applicants must submit a detailed report of their community service efforts during their high school careers. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or be authorized to work or attend school in the United States. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation Girls in Football Scholarship:

Description: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist female high school seniors participating in a form of football (touch, flag, tackle, etc.) who plan to continue their education in college. Applicants must plan to enroll in an undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year. Past recipients may not reapply. Garner Trust Scholarship:

Amount: $2,500

Description: The Garner Trust Scholarship is available to students that will attend an Arkansas college, university, or technical/trade school. It will not be transferable to an out of state institution of higher learning. Applicants must be children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of American Legionnaires in good standing of two or more consecutive years’ membership. Stepchildren of living Legionnaires may apply if their parent is currently married to the Legion member. Children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of deceased Legionnaires are also eligible. Applicants or Legionnaires must be a resident of Arkansas. Applicants must have received a high school diploma or the equivalent by the time this scholarship will be awarded or be a graduate of a two-year college from an Arkansas Institution. Applicants must provide one character reference in business letter format from an official of the student’s school, one letter of endorsement from an American Legion Post officer (local preferred), and one from an unrelated person belonging to none of the above.
