First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association High School Scholarships:
Amount: $1,000 – $1,250

Description: Scholarships will be awarded to members of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. An eligible candidate shall be a member of good standing with the Association for at least three years prior to date of application and hold one of the following policies in his or her own name: a $1,000 minimum permanent life insurance certificate; a $5,000 minimum term certificate; or an annuity certificate. Applicants must be enrolled at a private or Catholic accredited high school in the United States and be in a program leading to a High School diploma. High school freshmen to high school seniors may apply. High school freshman candidates must submit an official grade report of the current school year’s grades. Previous school year’s grades are also acceptable. They must also submit a copy of the acceptance letter from the high school. All other high school candidates must submit an official grade report of the applicant’s high school record for the current school year. Names of Principal, counselors or advisors who have specific knowledge of applicant’s academic qualifications must be included in the application as references. Defense Commissary Agency Scholarships for Military Children:

Description: The Defense Commissary Agency Scholarships for Military Children will be awarded for the academic school year 2025-2026. There will be at least one recipient selected at every commissary location where qualified applications are received. The scholarship program is open to unmarried military dependent children under the age 23 who possess a valid Uniformed Services Identification (USID) card. In addition, a student’s parent(s)/sponsor(s) must be one of the following: active duty, reserve/guard, deceased, or retired from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, or Space Force. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s degree or a community or junior college designed to allow for a direct transfer into a four-year program. High school applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. College applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. College freshmen must submit a first-semester college transcript. Description: The Le Mars Daily Sentinel funds the annual Carter Pitts Scholarship. The scholarship is named for the Daily Sentinel’s longtime publisher or owner. The late Carter Pitts was also the first president of the Iowa Newspaper Foundation and the organization’s first professional fundraiser. North Carolina Veterans Scholarships Class II:

Description: The North Carolina Veterans Scholarships Class II is for students with a veteran parent rated by USDVA as much as 20 percent but less than 100 percent disabled due to wartime service as defined in the law, or was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received. Students in public, community and technical colleges or institutes will receive free tuition, a room allowance, a board allowance, and exemption from certain mandatory fees set forth in the law. Students in private college and junior colleges will receive $7,000 per nine-month academic year. The scholarship may be renewed for four academic years if used within 8 years. Description: The North Carolina Veterans Scholarships Class III will be awarded to students who will meet one of the following: (A) have a veteran parent who is or was at time of death drawing pension for total and permanent disability as rated by the USDVA; (B) have a veteran parent who is a deceased war veteran who was honorably discharged and who does not qualify under any other provision within this statute; or (C) served in a combat zone or waters adjacent to a combat zone and received a campaign badge or medal and who does not qualify under any other provision with this statute. The Jackson Laboratory College Scholarship Program:

Description: Many promising students are unable to pursue higher education due to the financial burden a college education presents. The Jackson Laboratory College Scholarship Program will be awarded to students from underserved backgrounds who will pursue a college degree and aspire to a career in biomedicine. Description: As an HSF Scholar, you will have access to HSF’s invaluable Scholar Support Services and be eligible to receive a scholarship, depending on available funds. Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship Program:

Description: The Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship Program provides financial assistance for post-high school education to the dependents of roadway workers killed or permanently disabled in work zone construction or maintenance activities within the work zone, including mobile operations and the installation of roadside safety features. Spouses of fallen workers and parents with custody or legal guardianship of surviving children are also eligible. The scholarship must be applied to a post-secondary school or institution that requires a high school diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) certificate or diploma for admission. This could include any public or private institution. Two letters of recommendation are required. Florida Engineering Society High School Scholarships:

Description: FES offers several scholarship programs for high school students interested in pursuing careers in engineering. Applicants must be a high school senior and have been enrolled in one semester and will graduate from a Florida school. Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident (green card holder) of the United States at the time of application. They must attain a minimum test score on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), or the American College Testing Program (ACT). The minimum scores, listed on page two of the application, are used as a minimum threshold level, with actual test scores being weighed into the scoring process. Applicants must enroll in an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). A copy of the official IB, AICE & AP test score sheet must be included with the application. Applications must be submitted to the applicant’s Chapter Representative. High school applicants must submit the application to a representative in the county where their high school is located. For students considered dependents of their parents for income tax purposes, they must submit in the county corresponding to their parents’ residence. Description: We provide nine David & Dovetta Wilson Scholarships annually and distribute umbrella awards to recipients on behalf of families and individuals invested in the support of education and leadership. Scholarship recipients excel academically, engage in civic and/or religious acts of service, and demonstrate a commitment to use their education to give back to our local, state and national communities. Description: The Pinnacol Foundation Scholarships may be used for four-year, two-year or trade programs at accredited colleges, universities, community colleges and vocational schools. Applicants must be the natural child, adopted child, stepchild or full dependent of a worker who was injured or killed in a compensable work-related accident during the course and scope of employment with a Colorado-based employer and was entitled to receive benefits under the Colorado Workers’ Compensation Act. It doesn’t matter which insurance company covered your parent’s claim. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, or be a high school senior. Applicants must submit their Student Aid Report (SAR) from their completed FAFSA and information about their volunteer, extracurricular, and employment experiences. Students may reapply each year. Description: Bernt Anker, Sons of Norway member since 2005, feels deeply that college students without parents should have the same opportunity and support as students who come from a two-parent household. It is thanks to Mr. Anker’s generosity that this four-year scholarship is possible. Applicants must have a certificate of completion from high school or be about to graduate high school. Preference will be given to students without parents or to students raised by single parents. There is no SON membership requirement. The scholarship may be used for any field of study. Description: The Donald A. Smischny Educator Scholarship may be awarded to Kansas high school seniors, students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs, or current professionals pursuing a teaching career at USD 327 in Ellsworth, Kansas. Those who have received a baccalaureate (B.A. or B.S.) or graduate (M.A. or M.S.) degree from an accredited post-secondary institution, and may or may not currently be employed as a K-12 teachers; or those currently serving as a K-12 teacher, planning to obtain additional certification or skill enhancement at an accredited institution are eligible to apply. Degrees received or sought must be in education, or in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) field. Description: The Raymond H. Fuller, PE Memorial Scholarship was established by his wife, Rhoda M. Fuller, as a tribute to his lifelong accomplishments and his desire to promote the engineering profession to young people. IAA Foundation General Scholarship:
Amount: $1,000

Description: The IAA Foundation General Scholarship will be awarded in honor of Prairie Farms Dairy Leadership. Applicants must be an Illinois Farm Bureau member, or spouse or child of member. Applicants must also major in agriculture, agribusiness, or an ag-related field. Applicants may be a previous recipient of an IAA Foundation scholarship, though certain scholarships restrict the number of times an applicant can be a recipient. All applicants must be a high school graduate or be graduating in 2024 and must be accepted for enrollment or be currently enrolled at an accredited college, university, community college or trade school. While applicants may apply for multiple awards, they can only receive one scholarship per program year. In addition to eligibility criteria, recipients are selected based on their activities and involvement in clubs, organizations and their community, their financial plan for funding their education, essay and personal statement responses and academic performance. Tailhook Educational Foundation Scholarship:
Amount: $4,000 – $20,000

Description: The Tailhook Educational Foundation Scholarship may be awarded to a high school graduate and child or grandchild of a current or former Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer; or Air-crewman; or children or grandchildren of individuals who served aboard a US Navy aircraft carrier. High school seniors may also apply. The scholarship grants are for undergraduate degrees only at accredited schools or universities. To prove sponsorship eligibility, TEF must receive one of the following documents from the applicant or sponsor: DD214 honorable discharge/ retirement papers with documentation specifying the member was a Naval Aviator; Naval Aviation designation letter itself; Naval Aviation based award listing aviation service or Naval Aviation designator; or Set of orders listing aviation duties or to a USN aircraft carrier or Naval Aviation designator. Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn, USA Scholarship:
Amount: $2,000

Description: The Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn, USA Scholarship is awarded to a qualified member of the Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn, Lodge #1903. One scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis by the Kosciuszko Foundation. Graduating high school seniors may apply. Selection is based on application completeness, the recommendations of teachers and professors, academic excellence and achievements, applicant’s interests, motivation, the applicant’s essay, involvement in the Polish American community. Frontline Families Scholarship Program:
Amount: $1,000 – 2,500

Description: The Frontline Families Scholarship Fund was established by Dr. Michael Osterholm, world-renowned epidemiologist, to provide educational assistance to the surviving family members of frontline healthcare workers and volunteers who lost their lives in the fight against COVID-19. Because of the inequitable impact of COVID-19, priority will be given to families who are historically underserved and those who have demonstrated financial need. Applicants must be high school seniors, high school graduates or current college undergraduates. They must be planning to enroll at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year. Children are defined as biological, step- or legally adopted children age 26 and under as of the application date. The Frontline Families Scholarship Program is not competitive; all eligible applicants will receive awards. Applicants that do not demonstrate financial need, or do not provide financial information, will be eligible to receive a $1,000 award. Applicants who demonstrate financial need will be eligible to receive a $2,500 award. Awards are not renewable; however, students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements and funds are available. Applicants can receive the award a maximum of four times. National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Northwest Foundation Scholarship:
Amount: $5,000

Description: National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences – Northwest Chapter awards up to three scholarships a year: two general scholarships and a third honoring Tricia Moen. The goal of the NATAS Northwest Scholarship Program is to sustain promising college/university students in the pursuit of their studies in the field of television and broadcast. Applicants must be college or high school seniors headed to college in the fall. They must be living or attending college in NATAS NW’s five-state regions. The scholarship is limited to students studying or participating in a TV/video program or projects. Applicants must submit a Faculty Letter of Endorsement. Archibald Rutledge Scholarship Program:
Amount: $2,000

Description: The Archibald Rutledge Scholarship Program offers twelfth-grade students, enrolled in a public school in South Carolina, the opportunity to compete for a scholarship in creative writing, dance, music, theatre, or visual arts as well as encourages and recognizes academic and artistic excellence among South Carolina students. Students may only apply for one scholarship. For Creative Writing, an entry is defined as an original composition, created by the applicant, utilizing any form of creative writing including but not limited to journals, diaries, letters, memoirs, essays, poetry, storytelling, speeches, and free writing. For Dance, an entry is defined as an original creation of dance choreography timed at three to six minutes created for solo dancer or ensemble in any appropriate movement style. The applicant must perform in the recording of his or her creation. For Music, an entry is defined as an original vocal or instrumental composition created by the applicant timed at four to ten minutes for solo performer or small ensemble utilizing any appropriate compositional technique. Arrangements of existing works will not be permitted for this competition. For Theatre, an entry is defined as an original one-act script created by the applicant with a runtime of eight to fifteen minutes. For Visual Arts, an entry is defined as original artwork that must be a completed, rendered visual creation, produced by the applicant. Art is limited to two-dimensional work such as drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking, and collage. Artwork must not be copies of master artworks or comic art. Gordon A. Rich Memorial Scholarship:
Amount: $12,500

Description: The Gordon A. Rich Memorial Foundation was created to honor the memory of Gordon Rich. GAR’s mission is to award grants to support the higher education goals of its recipients. Applicants must be dependent children of full-time employees in the financial services industry (commercial banks, investment banks, securities brokerage firms, insurance companies, fund and asset management companies, credit card and finance companies and similar businesses as determined by the Foundation). Employees must be presently employed with five years of experience OR no longer employed in this field but had ten years of experience which ended no longer than five years prior to the program closing date. Applicants must be currently enrolled as high school seniors who plan to enroll at an accredited four year college or university in the U.S. They must also rank in the top 20 percent of their class. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Description: The Junior League of Washington is pleased to announce the application process for the 2025 Meg Graham Scholarship: Celebrating Service and Leadership. The scholarship is open to any high school senior who is a DC resident; attends a public, charter, private, or parochial high school in DC; and is matriculating to an accredited, four-year postsecondary institution in the Fall of 2025. Applicants must have an outstanding volunteer service record, be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 5.0 scale, and show the promise of continued success. Applications must be submitted by February 21, 2025. Finalists will be notified by Monday, March 17, 2025 via e-mail or telephone. In accordance with DC public safety and health requirements, finalists will be required to attend a 30-minute, in-person interview, held at JLW Headquarters on April 5, 2025 or April 6, 2025. 3. The Valley Alliance of Mentors for Opportunities Scholarship:
Amount: $3,000 – $20,000

Description: The Valley Alliance of Mentors for Opportunities Scholarship (VAMOS) Scholarship program supports exceptional graduating high school seniors from the Rio Grande Valley in Texas. High school students must be graduating seniors in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, specifically Hidalgo, Cameron, and Starr counties. Students must be Pell Grant recipients. Selected students attending the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley will receive $3,000 per year, for four years ($12,000 total). All other selected students attending other institutions will receive $5,000 per year, for four years ($20,000 total). All majors are accepted.
