Description: The Cynthia H. Kuo Scholarship is for Chinese students who are actively involved in the Christian faith and/or youth group. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or a current college student. Applicants must be Chinese students who are either first-generation in the U.S. or born overseas, planning to attend a four-year college in the U.S. on a full-time basis, and they must be actively involved in the Christian faith or Christian youth group for the last two years. American Water Scholarship:

Description: American Water is proud to provide equitable educational opportunities for students across our national footprint through the American Water Scholarship. This scholarship is part of American Water’s continued commitment to being an inclusive, diverse, and equitable company and supports our future leaders of tomorrow. The American Water Scholarship is awarding scholarships to students in the states where American Water operates. The scholarship is designed to support the educational aspirations of students who represent lived experiences and backgrounds that are underrepresented in the utility industry and who value the advancement of inclusion and diversity in all aspects of society. Applicants must self-identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community; or self-identity as having a disability; or self-identify as being an active member of the military services, a military spouse, or having a parent or guardian who is an active member; or self-identify as female; or self-identify as Black, African or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Hispanic or Latino, Asian, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates, or current college undergraduates, residing and/or attending college in one of the eligible states. American Legion Legacy Scholarship:

Amount: $5,000 – $20,000
Closing Date: March 26, 2026
Description: The American Legion Legacy Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship designed to fulfill a financial gap remaining after all federal and state educational grants or scholarships available to an eligible applicant have been utilized. Those who may apply are children of U.S. military members who died while on active duty on or after Sept. 11, 2001; and children of post-9/11 veterans having been assigned a combined disability rating of 50 percent or greater by the Department of Veterans Affairs also qualify. Each needs-based scholarship provides up to $20,000 for children of the fallen, and up to $5,000 for children of the disabled for undergraduate or post-graduate college. Recipients may reapply for additional annual awards up to six times. Description: The Balkhi Foundation Higher Education Scholarship seeks to help talented young people make college more attainable. These awards are granted to exceptional high school seniors accepted to a US based college or university who demonstrate a financial need. An ideal applicant for a Balkhi Foundation Scholarship is a student who has shown dedication to their academics as well as their personal goals whether that is through community service, creation of a business or invention, or significant dedication to academic pursuits. Richard L. Taylor Flight Training Scholarship:

Amount: $1,500

Description: The Richard L. Taylor Flight Training Scholarship is the newest addition to the National Air Transportation Foundation’s scholarship program. The scholarship is offered to a college or university student continuing his or her education in the aviation industry. Applicants must be enrolled in a flight program through the college or university with aspirations to become a professional pilot (general or commercial aviation). They must have a private pilot’s license. A senior in high school planning a career in the general aviation field may also apply. Interested students must complete an application and submit it along with the required documents no later than the last Friday in March. If applying as an incoming college freshman, please include an official high school transcript and an acceptance letter from the college or university at which you will be attending. If applying while enrolled in college or university, please include an unofficial college or university transcript showing a 3.0 or greater GPA. CBC Spouses Education Scholarship:

Description: The CBC Spouses Education Scholarship was established by the spouses of Congressional Black Caucus members to address the educational need in the congressional districts in response to federal cuts in spending for education programs and scholarships, which disproportionately affect people of color. This opportunity awards scholarships to academically talented and highly motivated African-American or Black students pursuing an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree in a variety of fields. Applicants must reside or attend an academic institution in a CBC Member’s District, current high school seniors are eligible to apply. They must exhibit leadership and be active in the community. Applicants must submit a personal statement, in a video form. Please discuss your academic interests and/or professional goals and how you will make change in your community with your education. Description: To encourage people to create an adventurous and exciting life as they define it, this scholarship exists to support a student who will do what it takes to live life to the fullest. The scholarship is open to all students and non-students from any field of study. The only requirement is that you’re committed to overcoming fear and relentlessly pursuing a life that will leave you fulfilled. Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to verify their academic enrollment status by providing a copy of their most recent transcript. Charles and Melva T. Owen Memorial Scholarship:

Description: First established by Charles Owen in loving memory of his blind wife, this scholarship is now endowed to honor the memory of both. The Charles and Melva T. Owen Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to students who must be pursuing or planning to pursue a post-secondary course of study in a degree program at a U.S. institution in the fall of the year of application. One scholarship may be given to a person employed full-time while attending school part-time. Applicants must be legally blind in both eyes. Applicants do not have to be U.S. citizens but they must be residing in the United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. They must be 18 years of age by July 8, 2025. Applicants do not need to be an NFB member to win. At least one letter of recommendation is required; more letters are permitted. The best letters come from an authoritative source and provide verification of the applicant’s excellence with examples of their level of scholarship, ability as a leader, community involvement, or fineness of character. For the proof of legal blindness, applicants do not need to send actual medical records. They just need to provide a clear statement from a qualified professional that certifies they are “legally blind” in both eyes according to the federal definition. Qualified authorities include a professional in eye care or a medical doctor, a professional in the education or rehabilitation of persons who are legally blind, or the president of an NFB state affiliate. High school seniors must submit the reports on their college entrance examinations, if available. They must send a copy of their report summary from the ACT, SAT, or other such standardized tests. Description: The Kenneth Jernigan Scholarship is given yearly by the American Action Fund for Blind Children and Adults, a nonprofit organization that works to enhance the lives of blind people. This scholarship will be awarded to students who must be pursuing or planning to pursue a post-secondary course of study in a degree program at a U.S. institution in the fall of the year of application. Sertoma Scholarship for Students who are Hard of Hearing or Deaf:

Amount: $1,000

Description: Sertoma’s Scholarship for the Hard of Hearing or Deaf, is the leading scholarship for hard of hearing or deaf students since the program’s inception in 1994. Students with clinically significant bilateral hearing loss, graduating from high school, or undergraduate students pursuing four-year college degrees in any discipline are eligible for the scholarship. Graduate degrees, associates degrees, community colleges, and vocational programs do not qualify. Applicants must have a minimum 40dB bilateral hearing loss, as evidenced on audiogram by SRT and PTA scores. Two letters of recommendation are required. Applicants must submit their recent audiogram from a hearing health professional (must not be any older than two years). Hearing loss on application must be verifiable from audiogram. GAE High School Senior Scholarship for Future Teachers:

Description: The Georgia Association of Educators Foundation exists to provide enhanced educational opportunities for every student by training, developing and empowering Georgia’s public school educators. As part of this mission, the GAE Foundation provides scholarships each year to high school seniors who plan to be a future Georgia teacher. Applicants must be high school seniors that have or will graduate in 2024 from a Georgia Public High School. Students must submit two sealed letters of recommendation. Bill & Jacqueline Younger Volunteer Scholarship:

Description: The Bill & Jacqueline Younger Volunteer Scholarship acknowledges outstanding student volunteer participation with Miller-Keystone Blood Center. Presented to a graduating high school senior, this award recognizes the importance of student volunteerism to the health and welfare of our community. Applicants must have completed a minimum of 135 hours of volunteer service with Miller-Keystone Blood Center in no less than a cumulative two calendar year period. The student must be a member in good standing at their high school. The student must be recommended to receive this scholarship by the school principal or guidance office. Howard Coughlin Memorial Scholarship:

Amount: $662 – $6,500
Closing Date: March 31, 2026
Description: The Howard Coughlin Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a member or an associate member of OPEIU in good standing up until date of endorsement. Applicants may be the son, daughter, stepchild or legally adopted child of an OPEIU member in good standing or an associate member. Applicants may either be a high school senior or high school graduate entering a college, university or a recognized technical or vocational postsecondary school; or students presently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a college, university, or a recognized technical or vocational postsecondary school. Applicants may be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student. Eight full-time scholarships will be awarded on the basis of at least one per region. Each scholarship award shall be granted with a payment of $1,625.00 for each year of higher education with a maximum value of $6,500.00, pending annual proof of enrollment. If a full-time student does not attend a college or university each semester, they have four years maximum to use the full-time scholarship. Eight part-time scholarships will be awarded on the basis of at least one per region. Part-time scholarships were implemented in order to reach a greater number of members, as full-time scholarships are generally awarded to children of members. Each scholarship award shall be granted with a payment of $662.50 for each year of part-time higher education with a maximum value of $2,650.00, pending annual proof of enrollment. If the student becomes a full-time student, while receiving a part-time student scholarship, the scholarship will be revoked, and they will be able to reapply for a full-time scholarship. AJFL College Scholarships:

Amount: $2,000
Closing Date: March 31, 2026
Description: Annually, AJFL awards College Scholarships renewable for up to four years. Scholarships are awarded according to the number of AJFL members in each of the seven national regions. The scholarship period is annually from January and closes at the end of March. Applicants must be at least a high school senior or equivalent. They must be associated with AJFL by either owning an AJFL insurance policy, or by being the child or grandchild of a current AJFL policyholder. To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must have an issued AJFL policy by the end of the previous year. Applicants also must be accepted for admittance, or already enrolled, for at least 12 credit hours per semester at a recognized institution of higher learning (university, college or junior college, nursing or technical school offering college credit). Graduate schools are not included. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of chance, not grades. Each successful applicant must provide annual proof of eligibility on or before a deadline set by the scholarship committee to qualify for a continuing award. Description: For over three decades, the Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FFTA) has supported students pursuing careers in flexography and graphic communications by offering financial aid. Air Line Pilots Association Scholarship Program:

Amount: $15,000 – $60,000
Closing Date: April 1, 2026
Description: The Air Line Pilots Association Scholarship Program will be awarded to a child of a medically retired, long-term disabled, or deceased pilot member of the Air Line Pilots Association. This scholarship will be awarded for four consecutive years, provided that adequate academic standing is maintained. Although the program envisions selection of a student enrolling as a college freshman, eligible individuals who are already enrolled in college may also apply. The student must be enrolled in a program of studies principally creditable toward a baccalaureate degree. Applications for the scholarship should not be submitted prior to an applicant’s senior year in high school and preferably after the first semester of that senior year. Applicants who have been enrolled in college must submit a copy of all college courses and course grades received to date in addition to the application and required high school performance data. American Legion Department of Vermont Scholarship:

Description: The American Legion – Department of Vermont is pleased and proud to offer this scholarship program to support Vermont high school students in their quest for higher education. Young men and women who attend a Vermont secondary school or Interstate school district serving Vermont students are eligible to apply. Their parents must be legal residents of the State of Vermont. The Herbert Lehman Education Fund Scholarship:

Amount: $3,000 – $15,000

Description: The Herbert Lehman Education Fund is a national, highly competitive scholarship that makes annual awards to qualified, outstanding undergraduate and law school students. Today, the mission of the Herbert Lehman Education Fund is to help transform the promise of racial equality into a social, economic, and political reality by supporting talented undergraduate students with financial need to stay in school and successfully complete their bachelor’s degree. The Herbert Lehman Education Fund also offers a limited number of law school scholarships to students committed to pursuing careers in public interest law. Awards generally do not exceed three years. Undergraduate scholarship applicants must be a graduating high school senior, a first-year student in an accredited four-year college, or a student transferring into an accredited four-year college. All applicants must have a combined family income of $70,000 or less. They must also have demonstrated commitment to public service. There is no minimum test score or GPA requirement. Applications from non-U.S. citizens are not accepted at this time. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. Applications for undergraduate scholarships must be completed by April 1, 2025. Applications for law school students must be completed by May 1, 2025. NSHSS Research and Academic Paper Scholarship:

Amount: $1,250
Closing Date: April 3, 2026
Description: NSHSS will recognize students who have written an academic paper on the provided topic. The paper can be a research paper, original essay, or an analytical paper. We will not consider fiction, poetry, journal entries, computer programs, or lab reports. Applicants must be NSHSS high school members graduating in 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028. Submission of pictures, videos, or media showing your leadership in action is optional. Sussman-Miller Educational Assistance Fund:

Description: The Sussman-Miller Educational Assistance Fund provides assistance to students to further their education in an undergraduate program. This program provides financial assistance to address the ‘gap’ in financial aid packages for both students graduating from high school and those continuing their education. Students working on a second undergraduate or graduate degree will not be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with a lower Student Aid Index (SAI) as indicated on their FAFSA. The NMMHA and James Knott Memorial Scholarship:

Description: The James Knott Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1996 by the New Mexico Manufactured Housing Association to provide scholarship awards to New Mexico graduating high school seniors residing in a manufactured home. Student applicant must live in a mobile or manufactured home. Proof of residency in a mobile or manufactured home with one of the following documents is required: A copy of title or rental agreement; or Retail installment contract; or County tax assessment. Description: The Ann Maly Davis Scholarship Fund will provide a one year scholarship to students graduating from Wahoo High School in Wahoo, Nebraska, or Royse City High School in Royse City, Texas, with a preferred emphasis on students intending to major in Business. This scholarship is also open to students attending college in Texas or Nebraska. Applicants must participate in community service or student activities. Description: The ESA Youth Scholarship Program aims to support the futures of the children of first responders. High school seniors who have a commitment to excellence and are inspired by the work their first responder parent(s) do in our communities, are invited to apply. Awards are based on a combination of academic achievement, national test scores, extracurricular participation and the essay. This year, 14 state associations are participating in ESA’s Youth Scholarship Program. Description: The Julian and Jan Hester Memorial Scholarship is to assist deserving high school seniors in their first year of college and to promote community banking. All Georgia high school seniors are eligible to compete for this scholarship if they are planning to enter a Georgia university, college, or technical institute in the fall semester of 2025, following their high school graduation. To compete, students must be sponsored by a local community bank, must complete an activity record expressing their leadership activity in school, write a short essay on community banking, provide teacher recommendations and an official high school transcript. Description: The Martha Meade Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to graduating seniors from Westmoor High School in Daly City, California, who plan to enroll in a two- or four-year college/university or in a vocational program leading to a certificate. This scholarship program seeks to provide support to students who demonstrate a genuine love of learning in their chosen field of study and a demonstrated desire to serve the community at large. Special consideration will be given to students who plan on majoring in History or Social Sciences. Applicants may submit up to 2 letters of reference, it is required for one letter to be from a teacher or academic advisor; and it is optional for one letter to be from a work or volunteer supervisor, or a youth leader. Description: Hanscom Federal Credit Union established the John F. Condon Memorial Scholarship in honor of a former member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Condon provided the credit union with invaluable guidance and leadership. Scholarships will be awarded this year to graduating high school seniors, including gap year graduates. These scholarships are intended to recognize high academic excellence and high achievement in extracurricular and volunteer activities. Financial need may also be a consideration.
