Description: The Sand Student Travel Award provides women geoscience students with support to present their research at the Annual Meeting of the Geological Society of America. The award is to be used to help defray travel, lodging, registration, and other expenses associated with the presentation of the awardee’s research at the meeting. To be eligible for the award, the applicant must be the presenting author of the submitted abstract; be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program or the equivalent; have geoscience or a closely related discipline as their major or area of specialization; and be a woman (including cisgender, transgender, gender fluid, and non-binary persons). Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship:

Description: NBAA Charities and the family and friends of Lawrence Ginocchio annually award the Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship to each of five undergraduate students enrolled at NBAA/University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions. The Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship was created in 2001 by NBAA Charities and the family and friends of the late Lawrence “Larry” Ginocchio to honor his outstanding personal contribution to the business aviation community. Named for a remarkable man whose strength of character inspired a high standard of caring in the aviation community, this scholarship recognizes those individuals who have demonstrated honesty, integrity and selflessness in their dealings with others. These individuals should possess a passion for aviation, as Larry Ginocchio did, and utilize their interest or involvement in business aviation to enhance the lives of others. Applicants must be students enrolled or accepted into an aviation management program. They must submit two letters of recommendation from those qualified to comment on their career aspirations and qualifications, especially as they relate to business aviation. UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation Scholarship:

Description: Through the UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation Scholarship, NBAA Charities annually awards a minimum of $1,000 to students studying aviation-related curricula at NBAA and University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions. This scholarship is named for the late Janice K. Barden, who was active in the aviation community for decades and who served as chair of the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition Local Committee eight times, more than any other person in NBAA history. Sherry R. Arnstein Minority Student Scholarship:

Description: To strengthen the career pathway for physicians from historically disadvantaged backgrounds, the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) is pleased to offer the Sherry R. Arnstein Underrepresented Minority Scholarship. The scholarship recognizes underrepresented minority (URM) students attending one of AACOM’s member colleges of osteopathic medicine (COMs). Each year, AACOM awards scholarships to a select number of osteopathic medical students. Both newly accepted and continuing students are eligible to apply. Applicants may either be currently enrolled in the first, second or third year at an AACOM member COM; or a student who has been accepted and is planning to matriculate at an AACOM member COM. Description: The Massachusetts High Demand Scholarship Program was created by the Massachusetts Legislature to support economic growth and development. Description: The Apprentice Ecologist Initiative has engaged tens of thousands of youth volunteers from around the world in environmental cleanup and conservation projects since 1999. The goals of the Apprentice Ecologist Initiative are to elevate youth into leadership roles by engaging them in environmental cleanup and conservation projects; empower young people to rebuild the environmental and social well-being of our communities; and improve local living conditions for both citizens and wildlife through education, activism, and action. The scholarship is currently available to high school juniors of Class of 2027 and seniors of Class of 2026. Applicants must lead or join an environmental stewardship project. They must take a photo of their project in action and write an essay. Applicants must then submit an application with their project location, photo, essay, number of volunteers, total volunteer hours, plus your name, address, and high school level. Scholarships will be awarded annually to the authors of the top-ranked Apprentice Ecologist essays. Scholarships are currently available to high school juniors and seniors from any state or country. Mitch Daniels Early Graduation Scholarship:
Amount: $4,000

Description: The Mitch Daniels Early Graduation Scholarship will be awarded to students who graduate from a publicly supported high school at least one year early. The scholarship may be used toward tuition and fees and any remaining funds shall be remitted to the student. This scholarship may not be used for remedial course work. Applicants must have had legal settlement in Indiana for at least the last two semesters prior to graduating from high school. Applicants must have attended a publicly supported high school on a full-time equivalency basis for at least the last two semesters before they graduated. They must have been awarded a minimum of a Core 40 high school diploma by the end of grade 11, including any summer course work completed by July 1 of the year of graduation. They must not have been enrolled in a publicly supported high school for any part of a fourth year (grade 12). The Indiana Department of Education uses data reported by the student’s high school to verify their eligibility for the scholarship. The deadline for the applicant’s high school to report this data to the Indiana Department of Education is October 30, 2024. Florida Rentals Annual Dream Vacation Scholarship:

Description: At Florida Rentals we know how hard you work all semester. Studying, stressing, and late night writing can take their toll. We think you deserve a vacation, or at least to dream about one. Unfortunately, dream vacations and college tuition can be expensive.
