New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants High School Scholarship Program:
Amount: $1,500
Closing Date: December 9, 2025

Description: The NJCPA Scholarship Fund awards one-year scholarships to college-bound New Jersey high school seniors intending to major in accounting or obtain a concentration in accounting which includes not less than 24 accounting credits. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted for permanent residence, and a New Jersey resident attending a New Jersey public, parochial/private, or home school high school. Students planning to attend a two-year college must submit a letter of intent signed by the student and a parent or legal guardian indicating that the student intends to obtain a four-year degree as an accounting major or obtain a concentration in accounting which includes not less than 24 accounting credits at a four-year college or university after completing studies at the two-year college. All finalists will be notified. Finalists are required to participate in a short virtual interview. There will be no make-up date. American Legion Department of Michigan High School Oratorical Scholarship Program:
Amount: $500 – $25,000

Description: The purpose of the American Legion Department of Michigan High School Oratorical Scholarship Contest is to provide high school students with a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Constitution of the United States. Other objectives of the contest include the development of leadership qualities, improving speaking skills, and acceptance of the responsibilities as well as the privileges of American citizenship. Contestants will compete for scholarship money ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 at the department (state) contest conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2025. The department winner will advance to compete for scholarship money ranging from $20,000 to $25,000 in the National contest held May 16-18, 2025 in Hillsdale, Michigan. Contestants must be in grades 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th and not older than 20 years-of-age; and be enrolled in an accredited high school (public, parochial, military, private) or an accredited homeschool program. The contestants must prepare an oration. The topic for the 2025 contest is based on the Amendment I; Amendment VII; Amendment XVIII Sections 1, 2, and 3; Amendment XXVI Sections 1 and 2 of the U.S. Constitution. A contestant must register with the American Legion, Department of Michigan by December 9, 2024. Once registered with the Department of Michigan, the contestant’s information will be forwarded to their Zone Chairman and they will notify the contestant of the dates, times and locations of all contests at the District and Zone level. All District contests are to be completed by January 20, 2025 and Zone contests will be conducted before February 10, 2025. The Department contest will be conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2025. American Legion Department of Vermont High School Oratorical Contest:
Amount: $1,500 – $25,000

Description: The American Legion Department of Vermont High School Oratorical Contest presents participants with an academic speaking challenge that teaches important leadership qualities, the history of our nation’s laws, the ability to think and speak clearly, and an understanding of the duties, responsibilities, rights and privileges of American citizenship. The subject in the prepared oration portion of the contest must be about some phase of the Constitution of the United States, emphasizing the duties and obligations of a citizen. All contestants must be presently enrolled in a high school or junior high school (public, parochial, military, private or state accredited home school) in which the curriculum of said high school is considered to be of high school level, commencing with grade nine and terminating with grade 12. Students must be enrolled in high school or junior high school during the time of participation at any level of The American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest. High school students that graduate early during the school year are eligible to compete if they are not enrolled in a college, university, trade school or other institution of higher learning at the time of the department finals contest. Contestants must be either legally domiciled within or attend an educational institution within the department (state) where they enter competition. Description: The AvaCare Medical Scholarship recognizes those who are working to better the lives of our customers, students who are pursuing a degree in the medical field, with a prize toward college tuition. This scholarship is awarded annually to one submission that tells about an inspiring act of kindness. Applicants must be a citizen of the United States or in possession of an Alien Registration Card. They must be a high school senior or enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in the medical field such as therapy, nursing, medicine, nutrition, laboratory science, dentistry, health law, etc. Although all students with the above criteria are welcome to apply for this scholarship, preference will be given to students with a physical disability. The Allied.com Military Scholarship Competition is open to all those current or former active duty military and their dependents who qualify. Learning Beyond Borders: A Ling Scholarship:

Description: As an advocate for language studies and on-to-go education, Ling is pleased to announce its scholarship program, Learning Beyond Borders. Scholarships will be awarded based on eligibility and the applicant’s personal statement. Applicants must have a year-two status and above and are currently enrolled in an approved 4-year university. Applicants must be citizens of the USA, UK, Australia, or Canada, or have registered at an educational institution located in one of these countries. They must be accepted into the study abroad program by the application deadline. Students planning to study abroad in a non-English speaking country are preferred but not required. Applicants may submit either a written essay or a video essay. For the video essay, students must record a 5-7 minute video addressing one of the following prompts: (1) Describe a challenging moment you faced (academically or personally). Discuss how you overcame that challenge and what you learned from it. (2) What do you hope to gain by studying abroad? (3) What is the spoken language of the country you’ll be studying in? Description: The Raoul Teilhet Scholarships are available to high school seniors and continuing college students who are children or dependents of CFT members in good standing. Students enrolled in four-year courses of study are eligible for $3000 scholarships; those enrolled in two-year programs are eligible for $1000. A high school applicant must be a high school senior applying, and a continuing college applicant must have graduated high school and completed a full semester of college with 12 units of credit. The applicant’s parent or guardian must be a member in good standing of an AFT local union in California. The applicant must be listed as a dependent on their parent’s or guardian’s tax return. Applicants must submit their Parent/Guardian Federal Tax Return; Member Verification by Parent/Guardian; and Member Verification by AFT Local Union President. Three recommendations are required for high school senior applicants, and two recommendations are required for continuing college student applicants. Scarlett Family Foundation Scholarship for Students Pursuing a Business or STEM Degree:

Description: Scarlett Family Foundation Scholarships are open to Middle Tennessee high school seniors who will graduate or obtain a GED prior to June 1, 2025, and to current college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Applicants must have obtained a high school diploma as a resident of one of the qualifying Middle Tennessee counties. Applicants must also plan to pursue a Business or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) degree at a 4-year, not-for-profit college or university in any U.S. state. Civic Music Association of Milwaukee Young Artist Scholarship:
Amount: $1,500

Description: The Civic Music Association of Milwaukee Competition is a well-regarded Milwaukee competition for accomplished high school age musicians. Musicians compete for the opportunity to perform on the Showcase Recital and to be one of four classical musicians to receive the Young Artist Scholarships. This scholarship and competition is open to high school vocal and instrumental students in grades 10-12 who live in Milwaukee, performing at or above WSMA Class A. While your piece must be at this level, it need not be on their actual list. Those who have received a Young Artist Scholarship in two consecutive years will be ineligible for a third scholarship. They remain eligible to participate and perform on the Showcase Recital if selected. Applicants must apply by December 15, 2024 and audition on January 25, 2025. Four to six minutes of performance time is required. Any six-minute portion of a longer piece may be chosen by cutting long introductions or accompaniment interludes. Science Ambassador Scholarship:

Description: The Science Ambassador Scholarship is an annual scholarship funded by Cards Against Humanity for undergraduate women and non-binary students in science, technology, engineering, or math. Applicants must be a high school senior or an undergraduate college student to apply. To apply, please film a three-minute educational video of yourself explaining a STEM topic you’re passionate about. The video should be a mini-lecture, not a personal statement. Pretend you’re a lecturer speaking to a class. Teach us something. The video should be clear, creative, accurate, and a demonstration of your passion for the subject. We value novel, memorable approaches to topics. Your video doesn’t need to be fancy or high-tech. Production value is not a factor. The topic of the video can be about any STEM topic, not necessarily your field of study. Pick a topic that excites and fascinates you. We don’t need to hear about the latest thing in science news (unless that’s your jam). The video must also be scientifically accurate. We encourage you to cite the sources used to research your topic. Ideally, this would be in a slide or frame at the end of your video. You can use any citation format you’d like. Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship Program:
Amount: $40,000

Description: The Amazon Future Engineer program will award students scholarships toward college expenses, paired with opportunities to intern at Amazon. Applicants must be high school seniors. This scholarship may be renewed for up to three years. Applicants must be planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or other computer science related field of study and are planning to attend an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States; or an accredited 2-year college, with the intent to transfer to a 4-year institution. Applicants must also have experience in computer science or engineering. They need to have taken computer science or engineering classes in high school or at a college dual program, or currently be enrolled in one. Applicants are required to submit a required. It is preferred that it came from a computer science, robotics, or hardware engineering teacher if the applicant has one, or a teacher who knows the applicant well. Description: The American Legion Oratorical Contest exists to develop deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution among high school students. Zone winners compete at the Department (state) level and the Department winner will earn the opportunity to represent Indiana at the National level of competition. There they will compete for a chance to win scholarships. The contest is open to any student who is enrolled in classes equivalent to the regular 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grades. Students must be enrolled in an Indiana high school during any and all levels of participation in this contest. The contestants must prepare an oration. The topic for the 2025 contest is based on the Amendment I; Amendment VII; Amendment XVIII Sections 1, 2, and 3; Amendment XXVI Sections 1 and 2 of the U.S. Constitution.
